Before OU, I attended both University of Nebraska - Lincoln and Macomb Community College. I attended UNL the fall semester of my freshman year, where I was majoring in architecture at the time. While at UNL, I realized that I was not as passionate about architecture as I had thought throughout high school. In my design thinking class we were assigned to make our projects 'visually appealing' which acted as the catalyst for graphic design for me. Once I realized that I was passionate about graphic design and it was what I wanted to pursue, I transferred to MCC. At MCC I wanted to complete my general education courses while getting an introduction to the world of graphic design.
